A 3rd generation Portuguese American, Ângela spent the last 20 years doing high tech public relations in Silicon Valley after getting her BA in Communication from the University of San Francisco. Leaving corporate America to become an entrepreneur, all while being an active member of the Portuguese community, she is pursuing multiple ventures including a consumer products development company called Red Roof Industries, and Riso Books, a publishing house focused on Portuguese/English bilingual children’s books, working as a PR consultant, and co-hosting three podcast shows, Our Portuguese Table, PALITICUS and Beyond 3D.
